On July 10, 2025, Delaware North announced its US-based Travel Hospitality Services (THS) business will be sold to Areas, a global leader in travel dining and retail. The sale is expected to be finalized in the fourth quarter of 2025. Upon completion of the sale, all THS team members will become part of Areas. Unit Description

Delaware North provides hospitality services at Orlando International Airport. Travelers can find delicious baked goods, grab-and-go packaged snacks, and meals at Harvest & Grounds. Raw Juice is famous for cold press juice and plant-based fare. Delaware North has operated here since 2021.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare food to specifications before and during unit operations, complying with all portion sizes, quality standards, department rules, policies, and procedures, and label, date, and wrap food products by ServSafe procedures
  • Communicate with the chef for any instructions or training
  • Uphold all health codes and sanitation regulations and follow all safety, security, and kitchen procedures
  • Maintains food, utensils, and equipment in a clean and orderly manner
  • Perform opening, closing, and side work duties and end-of-day inventory according to guidelines

Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Ability to read and comprehend prep sheets and follow instructions
  • Capacity to use kitchen tools safely, including knives and small equipment ware

Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to lift 20 lbs or more, as well as stand and bend for long periods
  • Manual ability to chop, mix, blend, whip a variety of foods and liquids, and operate kitchen equipment
  • Exposed to variable temperatures
