Do you have food prep experience AND have a valid driver's license? Big Delicious Planet is hiring a food prep/delivery driver on an as-we-need-you basis. Pick-up shifts when we request.
Job includes, but is not limited to:
- Delivering food to locations and offices, setting up a buffet
- Food prep in between deliveries (preparing salads, fruit platters, bread baskets, assembling appetizers, etc)
- Preparing kits for jobs (paper goods, etc)
- Cleaning, organizing and detailing around the kitchen
- Running errands for the kitchen and office
- Potential for more hours at events
Requirements:
- ALL BDP employees must show proof of vaccination and booster.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Familiar with and comfortable navigating Chicago in our company minivans
- Must have a great attitude, excellent customer service experience
- Must be able to read and speak English
- Must be punctual and reliable - we do not tolerate tardiness
- Must be able to work well with a team and independently
- Intermediate+ knife skills
-Must be able to frequently lift, move, carry up to 50 lbs.
Schedule:
- Need flexible availability for early morning deliveries, late afternoon, evening, weekends, with flexibility to come earlier or stay later.
