As a Hot Line Cook, you'll play a vital role in delivering an exceptional dining experience by preparing and cooking a variety of Asian-inspired hot dishes. You'll manage all aspects of hot food preparation, including grilling, sautοΏ½ing, frying, and noodle cooking. We're looking for someone with prior experience in a high-volume kitchen who thrives in a fast-paced environment. Your main responsibilities will include delighting guests with flavorful dishes while ensuring compliance with sanitation and food standards set by SNHD. This is a Non-Tipped position.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

  • Prepare all non-sushi items according to approved recipes in a timely manner.
  • Demonstrate excellent time-management skills in food preparation and guest service.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to ensure efficient and accurate service, adhering to the restaurant's standards for food preparation, temperatures, ticket times, and flavor profiles.
  • Cook and prepare a variety of Asian dishes, including stir-fried noodles, rice dishes, soups, grilled proteins, and tempura.
  • Properly handle and cook proteins such as beef, chicken, pork, and seafood while ensuring correct temperatures.
  • Ensure the correct use of woks, grills, fryers, and other kitchen equipment.
  • Dispose of any leftover items properly.
  • Suggest menu items or combinations to enhance the dining experience for guests.
  • Inventory and properly store all perishable and non-perishable ingredients.
  • Maintain a clean station and adhere to hygiene and sanitation standards at all times.
  • Arrive punctually for shifts and follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) set by AREA15.
  • Ensure equipment is maintained as outlined in safety and preventive maintenance programs.
  • Monitor the quality of fresh food products to meet standards.
  • Maintain compliance with food handling and sanitation standards.
  • Maintain the correct temperature of all food products during handling.
  • Demonstrate ART! (AREA15's service standards) in every guest interaction.
  • Adhere to department and company policies and procedures.
  • Maintain a professional, polished appearance in line with AREA15 standards.
  • Work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Perform other work-related duties as assigned.
