Summary: The Line Cook is primarily responsible for preparing, cooking, and presenting food according to THE LOT’s standard recipes. S/He will create quality food products while maintaining proper food storage and sanitation standards.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Prepare all food items as directed in a sanitary and timely manner
  • Follow recipes and presentation specifications
  • Operate standard kitchen equipment safety and efficiently
  • Clean and maintain station in practicing good safety and sanitation
  • Assist with the cleaning and organization of kitchen and equipment
  • Restock items as needed throughout the shift
  • Adhere to all sanitation and food production codes

Job Requirements:

  • At least 1-year of experience cooking in a restaurant kitchen.
  • Flexible schedule including weekends/holidays a must.
  • A valid CA Food Handler's card.
  • Ability to understand and work with a sense of urgency.
