Rollin Smoke Barbeque is looking for a motivated and reliable Prep Cook to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will be organized, detail-oriented, and capable of working efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Each employee must bring a smile to work every day and possess the ability to work flexible hours, take direction well, be self-motivated, clean, and handle large workloads. Hours will vary per week, and candidates must be available to work mornings, lunch, nights, weekends, and holidays.
Prep Cook Responsibilities:
Prepare and chop ingredients according to recipe specifications and restaurant standards
Assemble and organize ingredients for cooking and service
Assist with cooking and food preparation as directed by the kitchen staff
Maintain a clean and organized prep area, following health and safety guidelines
Ensure all ingredients are stored properly and at the correct temperatures
Follow recipes and portion sizes accurately to ensure consistency
Work collaboratively with kitchen staff to ensure efficient kitchen operations
Adhere to all sanitation and safety policies and procedures
Perform other kitchen duties as needed
