Husk Nashville is in search of an experienced Pastry Chef.

Located in the heart of Downtown, Husk Nashville highlights the history of Southern food. Exploring ingredient-driven cuisine that begins in the rediscovery of heirloom products - redefining what it means to cook and eat in Music City.

This position is for someone who has a passion for baking and desserts and prides themselves on operating with integrity and professionalism. The ideal candidate is creative, team oriented, and leads by example to provide an exceptional product and guest experience.

The Pastry Chef is:

Experienced, preferably 3+ years pastry experience in an upscale, full-service, high-volume restaurant
Familiarity with traditional pastry techniques such as ice cream production, lamination, and sugar work
Comfortable with mixing, shaping, proofing, and baking bread and cracker items daily
Driven and professional with a passion for leading, educating and training staff
Adept at multi-tasking and prioritizing job duties while working collaboratively with a savory team on a comprehensive menu
Proficient in menu and recipe development, food quality management, systems and food costing
Knowledgeable of food and kitchen safety and sanitation standards
Skilled with budgetary management (inventory and labor)
