The goal of the Pastry Chef is to assist in the management the Culinary Operation at Carillon Miami Wellness Resort under the direction and council of the Executive Chef to create and implement menu and concepts. The position is designed for individuals to work in a manner that is consistent with that of an independent owner/operator. Pastry Chef is seen as an inspirational role model by his/her team members. The incumbent is a top professional in the culinary field with a passion for baked goods, desserts, pastries, and sweet goods. This includes all practices, procedures, training, and guest satisfaction levels. A procedural approach to managing the culinary operation must be employed, utilizing modern management principles as well as incorporating technological innovations where practical, to deliver top quality guest service.
