1915 Wine Cellar is seeking a highly skilled, self-directed Chef to lead our culinary program. Role Overview
This is a hands-on position in a one-person kitchen. The ideal candidate is a versatile chef who is comfortable wearing many hats—creative visionary, disciplined operator, and meticulous steward of the kitchen. You will be responsible for the full lifecycle of the culinary offering, from concept to execution, while maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, organization, and detail.
Key Responsibilities
Culinary Leadership & Creativity

Develop and execute seasonal menus that align with the 1915 Wine Cellar brand and wine offerings

Create menus for special events, wine dinners, tastings, and private customer events

Design unique food concepts and experiences that elevate the guest experience

Continuously innovate while maintaining consistency and quality
Operations & Kitchen Management

Manage all aspects of menu creation, including recipe development, testing, and execution

Oversee inventory management, ordering, and vendor relationships

Perform accurate food costing and manage margins effectively

Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment at all times

Ensure proper storage, labeling, rotation, and waste control
Standards & Execution

Uphold strict standards for cleanliness, sanitation, and food safety

Maintain equipment, tools, and workspaces in excellent condition

Execute all menus and events independently with confidence and professionalism

Demonstrate strong attention to detail in preparation, presentation, and service
Qualifications

Proven experience as a Chef or in a comparable culinary leadership role

Strong foundational knowledge across multiple culinary disciplines

Experience working independently or managing a solo kitchen environment
