We are thrilled to be adding to our “village” and are now looking for a talented Line Cook to join us. As a member of our culinary team, a Line Cook is responsible for the epicurean delight of our guests. Cooks are fun and professional individuals who excel in a high-volume, fast-paced, chef-driven kitchen. . Ultimately, you will play an essential role in contributing to our guest satisfaction and restaurant growth. 

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES : 
  •  Ensure that all food prepared is of consistently high quality and that portions are consistently controlled. Food tickets are complete and out in a timely manner. 
  • Set up/prep station before service, maintains throughout service, and breaks down station according to kitchen standards daily 
  • Maintains neat, professional appearance and observes personal cleanliness rules at all times 
  • Keep par stocks at proper levels. Increase or decrease production as necessary 
  • Inform management of any problems concerning food quality or production control 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & QUALIFICATIONS:
  •  High school diploma or equivalent qualification. 
  • Certificate in Culinary Arts or related field preferred 
  • ServSafe certified 
  • A minimum of 2+ years experience in a similar role. 
  • In-depth knowledge of restaurant best practices and cooking methods. 
  • Must be able to work cooperatively and efficiently in a team. 

 PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: 
 
  • Must be able to lift, push, pull, and move product, equipment and supplies up to fifty (50) pounds  
  • Work requires the following motions: bending, twisting, squatting and reaching. 
  • Regularly exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, extreme cold, and extreme heat. 
  • Occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and risk of electrical shock
