Night Chef

Salary £24.414/Yr : £15.65/hr

30 Hours

Night shift: Sunday to Thursday 8:30pm until 2:30am

Reading

As Night Time Chef you'll be working in our kitchen with a catering assistant to serve fresh meals to our Reading based colleagues and on site visitors. Our multi-drop drivers and warehouse Operatives provide a vital and valued service getting food ready to deliver to places like restaurants, pubs, hospitals, schools, care homes and universities. Its certainly builds up an appetite when you are having to pick, pack and check the quality of these refrigerated food items, ready for our drivers to deliver. So if you have previous cooking and food handling experience and searching for great career opportunity and direction – you’ll go far with us.

We are looking for someone to work: 30 Hours, Sunday - Thursday You will start at 8:30pm until 2:30am

To join us as a our new Night Chef you will have previous catering experience, preparing food, creating menus, cooking and food handling experience in a fast paced, time pressured environment. We are looking for someone with a excellent cooking skills, customer service skills and awareness of Food hygiene. Experience working with till operation would be advantageous but is not essential, what’s key is your ability and desire to learn - understanding the business and the way around our commercial kitchen quickly.
