Who are we looking for?

The ideal person has experience in cooking and is willing to support the Chef. You prepare the dishes in an eye-catching way. You have flexibility and knows how to work under pressure at certain times. It has priority over quality in preparations and hygiene. Knows what is required of an independent cook within a kitchen. As an independently working cook, works daily in the kitchen, and you perform all common activities in collaboration with the chef and/or sous chef.

Your main functions will be:

Experience in cooking and is willing to support from the Chef to other colleagues in the kitchen.
Can assist the first chef or responsible for their own section in the kitchen.
Carry out joint activities in cooperation with the Chef and/or Sous Chef.
Flexibility and knows how to work under pressure at certain times.
Prepare menus in collaboration with your team.
Ensure adequacy of supplies at cooking stations.
Help maintain a smooth and friendly cooperative environment.
Display high professional competence and focus on service quality.
Plan the daily operations and order stock.

What do we offer?

Accommodation is organized by the hotel, restaurant, or establishment at a low cost: 91 euro per week (private room).
Subsidized food: minimum of one or two meals included in your working hours.
The temporary agency offers an agreement through the Dutch collective agreement. You get paid weekly per hour worked, 38h+ per week.
Subsidized Health Insurance: this legal requirement will be organized for you by our partners at a reduced rate of 33,50 per week.
Payment: weekly from 11,75 to 15 gross per hour.
Help and assistance in Spanish throughout the process: communication, interviews, and information.
Management of your BSN number once in the Netherlands.

Minimum requirements:

European nationality/passport is mandatory.
Experience as a chef de partie in restaurants or hotels at least more of 1 year.
Studies and training in the gastronomy sector.
It is vital that you have a minimum of an Intermediate level of English. (B1 +)

Important note: You will be responsible for the airfare! European citizen with European Passport!
