Prep Cook – GEORGETOWN MARKET EATERY

Full Job Description
Georgetown Market has an immediate opening for a part-time Prep Cook in the Eatery. This position must be able to
work a flexible schedule, including weekends.

Job responsibilities include...
1. Ensuring ingredients and final products are fresh and of a high quality
2. Following recipes, including measuring, weighing and mixing ingredients
3. Bake, grill, steam and boil meats, vegetables, fish, poultry and other foods
4. Present, garnish and arrange final dishes
5. Occasionally serve food
6. Function well in a fast-paced, busy environment as part of a team
7. Maintain a clean and safe work area, including handling utensils, equipment and dishes
8. Handle and store ingredients and food
9. Must maintain all food safety and sanitation standards
10. Perform other kitchen duties as assigned

Requirements
1. High school diploma or equivalent required
2. Familiarity of health and safety guidelines in a kitchen
3. Up to 6 months related work experience
4. Good communication skills
5. Commitment to company values

Physical Summary
