Commissioning Manager

Contract (Outside IR35)

As part of a key project, we are looking to appoint an experienced Commissioning Manager to our team in Bradford. The ideal candidate will be able to hit the ground running and run the whole commissioning scope from start to finish.

As part of a wider development project on a Top Tier COMAH facility, the Engenda Group project scope includes a new bund, new scrubber and pipework modifications to integrate into a new Delta V DCS. The £5million work scope include process deliverables, pressure relief, piping, electrical, civil and Instrumentation.

As Commissioning Manager, you will be fully responsible for assessing the project scope to outline requirements while building a commissions plan that will then be executed. This plan will include all deliverables, team size and timescales.

Your responsibilities will include:

Effective management of project schedules, timelines, and tasks to ensure project completion on time and within budget.
Coordinating with contractors, vendors, and various stakeholders involved in the commissioning process.
Updating and communicating progress to internal stakeholders and negotiating with clients on commissioning goals.
Developing commissioning plans, scheduling, and allocation of project tasks.
Overseeing the procurement of necessary equipment and managing pricing strategies.
Ensuring compliance with legal obligations and company standards.
Identifying and delegating the resolution of issues that may arise during the commissioning process.
Commissioning plan execution including labour requirements.
Managing and updating records and reports across different levels of the workforce.
Active participation in diverse operational aspects of project commissioning and onsite operations management.

The assignment is expected to be on an Outside IR35 Limited Company basis directly with Engenda Group. The contract is expected to run for 6-8 months but could take longer to plan and execute.
