About Us

College of The Holy Cross has some real Crusaders. The college, with sports teams nicknamed the Crusaders, is a liberal arts undergraduate institution in central Massachusetts with some 2,700 students. Some of the school's more popular areas of study include liberal arts' favorites such as English, history, and political science, but also American sign language, biochemistry, Latin American Studies, and Women's Studies. The school has more than 300 full- and part-time faculty, with a 10-to-1 faculty student ratio. Founded in 1843 by the Society of Jesus (Jesuits), Holy Cross is the oldest Catholic college in New England.
