PRC-DeSoto's sealants do a little bit more than just keep a drafty house warm or a back deck waterproof; they help keep F-22 jet fighters and the Space Station in one piece. The company, a subsidiary of PPG Industries residing within its Aerospace unit, provides sealants and coatings to aerospace companies like Airbus and Boeing. Other customers include airframe manufacturers, airline operators, insulating glass unit makers, and the telecommunications industry. PRC-DeSoto operates manufacturing facilities in France, the UK, and the US; it sells its products worldwide.
