Position Overview: The Line Cook will be preparing, seasoning, and cooking soups, meats, vegetables, desserts, and other food for customers. The line cook reports to the Sous Chef.
JOB SUMMARY
Responsibilities:
- Measures and mixes ingredients according to recipe to prepare soups, salads, gravies, desserts, sauces, and casseroles
- Washes, peels, cuts, and shreds vegetables and fruits to prepare them for use
- Prepares meats, fish, vegetables, and other foods
- Prepares food products as determined by recipe, technique and procedure
- Any other duties as assigned by Neon Marketplace and the direct Manager.

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service management role is required
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- High school diploma required
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
- All candidates must be ready, willing, and able to work a fully flexible work schedule that may include days, nights, weekends and holidays to meet the fluctuating business demands.

Working Conditions/Physical Demands:
- Prolonged periods of standing and walking
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 25 lbs occasionally. Able to stand for extended periods and occasionally kneel, stoop, bend and twist in tight areas.
