The Head Chef/Kitchen Manager will be responsible for the daily operations of a kitchen providing for 2-30 guests and present professional leadership to kitchen personnel. This person must ensure that all recipes, food preparations and presentations meet lodge standards and commitment to quality. He/she must also maintain a clean sanitary kitchen. Ideal candidates will posses an AOS degree from a culinary school or apprentice program. Experience in the culinary industry and management is required. The ability to manage in a diverse environment with focus on client and customer service is essential to success in this role.
Train and manage kitchen personnel and supervise/coordinate all related culinary activities; Estimate food consumption and requisition or purchase food; Select and develop recipes as well as standardize production recipes to ensure consistent quality;
